Twenty years in, I'm still learning. The best part of this job isn't filling roles. It's watching the people you hired become the leaders who hire the next generation. From building APAC's employer brand at Maersk to leading India's talent engine at NatWest, the through-line has been the same: hire for trajectory, not titles.
The work I'm proudest of isn't on a balance sheet. It's the mentorship, the second-career women returning to work through programs we built, the leaders who joined as recruiters and now run their own talent functions. Logistics taught me scale: at Maersk, hiring across APAC meant thinking in terms of supply chains of people, not just supply chains of containers. That lens is what I bring to banking now.
